Timothy Chen

Timothy Chen has a wide range of work experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry. Timothy is currently serving as the Vice President of Biologics at 4DMT since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Takeda as a Director from April 2021 to April 2022. From May 2017 to April 2021, they held the position of Director of Molecular Biology at Maverick Therapeutics. Before that, they worked at Bristol-Myers Squibb as an Assistant Director in Immuno-Oncology from July 2009 to May 2017. Timothy also served as a Senior Scientist in Molecular Biology & Biochemistry at Medarex from May 2002 to July 2009. Prior to that, they worked as a Scientist in Molecular Biology at Coulter Pharmaceutical from May 1999 to May 2002, and as a Scientist at Chiron Corporation from May 1997 to April 1999.

Timothy Chen holds a Ph.D. in Immunology from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Prior to this, they completed their undergraduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley, earning a B.S. degree in Genetics.
