We believe the conversation for work needs to shift from time to productivity outcomes. By measuring the right indicators we can provide efficient work and allow for more time away from work. We proved this at one of our companies, Perpetual Guardian, where after a successful trial, we rolled out the 4 Day Week as a permanent way of working. The rise of the gig economy represents a new industrial era, and we have not had a conversation about its implications for our economy and society.
