István Sárhegyi

István Sárhegyi currently serves as the Group Deputy CEO for Space and Defence Technologies and CEO at 4iG Space and Defence Technologies, fostering innovation in Hungary's space and defence sectors. With extensive experience in leadership roles such as Chairman of the Board at Remred and Member of the Board at Rotors & Cams Ltd. and Hungaro DigiTel, Sárhegyi is a key figure in advancing satellite communications and UAV systems in Hungary. Additionally, Sárhegyi's expertise extends to academia as an external lecturer in International Space Law & Policy at the University of Pécs and has held the position of Managing Partner at Herius Capital - Space Fund. Sárhegyi's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree from Corvinus University and a Master's degree from Eötvös Loránd University, complemented by training from the International Space University.
