Melanie Sollenberger

Melanie Sollenberger has extensive experience as a Physician Assistant in emergency departments, currently working at ApolloMD since July 2019 and at Alteon Health since April 2016. Prior to these roles, Melanie was a Physician Assistant student at UAB, where the master's thesis focused on glycemic control in type 1 diabetes patients. Additional clinical experience includes positions as an Operating Room Assistant at North Florida Regional Medical Center, internships at the University of Florida Diabetes Center of Excellence and the University of Florida Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation, and a teaching assistant role in microbiology. Melanie holds a Master of Science from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Cell Science from the University of Florida.
