Lynne Harkness

Lynne Harkness has over 30 years of experience in various roles within the field of Human Resources. Lynne currently serves as the Vice President of People & Culture at 4Refuel since March 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Human Resources, North America at 4Refuel from January 2014 to March 2022. In this role, they managed a team of 4 payroll and human resource professionals, providing support to employees and management across multiple provinces in Canada and the state of Texas.

Before joining 4Refuel, Lynne worked at Exova Group plc as the Human Resources Manager from November 2007 to July 2013. In this position, they oversaw the HR and payroll functions for over 1,000 employees located across Canada, the United States, and Mexico. Lynne also had 7 direct reports located in Mississauga, Illinois, and California.

Additionally, Lynne gained experience as a Human Resources Specialist at Collins & Aikman from October 2006 to November 2007, as a Senior HR Generalist at Benteler Automotive from May 2005 to October 2006, and as a Human Resources Administrator at USC Education Savings Plans from December 2000 to May 2005. Their early career involved working as a Payroll Administrator at Corus Entertainment from July 1989 to October 2000.

Lynne Harkness, PLP, CHRL has a Certificate in Labour Relations from Queen's University IRC, obtained in 2022. Lynne also completed a French Language program at Sheridan College from 2010 to 2012. In 2006, they completed the Labour Relations Foundations program at Queen's University. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma in Human Resources from Sheridan College in 2003. In 1988, they completed a Business Administration degree at Fleming College. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in Strategies for Workplace Conflicts from Queen's University IRC in 2022.
