Hannah Degroot

Hannah Degroot is currently a Campaigns Associate at 50+1 Strategies. Prior to that, they were a Volunteer Case Investigator/Contract Tracer at the Santa Clara County Public Health Department from November 2020 to April 2021. Hannah conducted 300+ hours of phone interviews with community members testing positive for COVID-19 and provided them with the information and resources they needed to isolate. Flattened pandemic curve and committed to health equity practices.

Hannah was also a Volunteer Leader at Vote Save America from July 2020 to January 2021. Hannah moderated and drafted posts and emails for an online community of 4K+ volunteers for the “Adopt-a-State” national organizing program. Hannah also designed and hosted morale-boosting virtual community events and mentored volunteers 1 on 1. Transformed enthusiasm to action and fostered new leaders.

During their time at Vote Save America, they led phone bank trainings for Biden for President and Georgia Dems. Achieved 2nd highest re-shift rate in the nation during GOTV.

Hannah Degroot completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Chapman University in Film Production (Directing). Hannah also attended Phillips Academy.
