Kai Keefe has diverse work experience in the field of video production and editing. They started their career as a Freelance Video Editor and Videographer, where they created engaging digital video content for various clients. They were skilled in handling one-person productions, shooting videos using personal camera and audio equipment.
Later, Kai became a Freelance Video Editor at 522 Productions, where they worked on a variety of video projects. They edited a series of videos for the Montgomery County Economic Development Center, including a pitch video submitted for Amazon HQ2. They also edited 365 short video profiles of business owners and workers for "MoCo 365".
Kai also worked as a Freelance Server Operator and AV Technician at The Newseum. Additionally, they served as the Video lead at Judah Avenue Photography.
Furthermore, Kai had an internship at the Newseum as a Video Production Intern. During this time, they edited a 25-minute documentary using archival interviews of Pulitzer-winning photographers.
Kai also gained experience at the UMD College of Behavioral and Social Sciences as a Studio Manager, where they created video content for the department. They filmed and edited documentary-style profiles and promotional videos.
Lastly, Kai worked as an IT Technician at the University of Maryland.
Kai Keefe earned a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Maryland between the years 2012 and 2016.
