Maren Horjus

Maren Horjus is currently the Digital Director at 5280 Magazine. Maren previously worked as a Gear Editor at REI and as a Senior Editor at Backpacker Magazine where Maren managed the trips section and produced hiking, travel, and multisport content. Maren has extensive experience in editorial roles, including working as a Freelance Writer at Mountain Magazine and as a Sports Writer at Marin Independent Journal. Maren holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University.
