John Engel

Mr. Engel joined 57 Stars in 2007, and is responsible for the sourcing, due diligence, structuring, and monitoring of private equity investments across the firm’s target markets. Mr. Engel participates on the advisory boards of several private equity funds. He has more than a decade of private equity investment experience in both the US and Emerging Markets.

Prior to joining 57 Stars, Mr. Engel worked for Pacific Corporate Group, a private equity investment advisory firm. Mr. Engel holds a BS (magna cum laude) in Biochemistry / Cellular Biology from the University of California at San Diego, and is a CFA Charterholder.
