Luke Steere

Luke Steere is a seasoned professional in the field of plant pathology and crop protection, currently serving as Director of Biology and Scientist at 5Metis Inc. since August 2021. Prior to this role, Luke held the position of Director of Crop Protection and Senior Research Scientist at Boragen, Inc., where responsibilities included leading hit-to-lead development and technical advancement for new fungicide chemistry. Luke's expertise also extends to academia, having served as a Research Plant Pathologist and Research Fellow/Lecturer at Michigan State University from 2012 to 2017. Luke Steere obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Plant Pathology/Phytopathology from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) from the University of Michigan.
