Srinivas Kp

Srinivas KP is a Senior Scientist at 64x Bio, specializing in adeno-associated viral (AAV) vector production and bioprocess development since July 2023. Previously, Srinivas served as Scientist-III & Lead at Sangamo Therapeutics, Inc., where responsibilities included leading lentiviral vector (LVV) production in GMP environments and establishing large-scale production platforms. Prior postdoctoral research at NYU Grossman School of Medicine focused on neuronal signaling in herpes simplex virus latency, and earlier work at Rajiv Gandhi Centre For Biotechnology examined the regulation of pathways in HPV-related cervical cancer. Srinivas completed a PhD in Virology at Sri Venkateswara University, where research involved genomics and diagnostics of viral infections in sorghum, and holds a Master of Science in Virology and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry.
