Sander Steffann

Sander Steffann has extensive experience in the field of internet networking and infrastructure. Sander currently works as a Senior Engineer at 6connect, where their responsibilities are not specified. Prior to this, they founded and served as a board member for organizations such as the Global NOG Alliance and Stichting IPv6 Nederland. Sander has also worked as an Internet Network Consultant, specializing in network architecture and IPv6. In addition, they have held roles as a Trainer for IPv6 Workshops and as a Member of the Dutch IPv6 Task Force. Sander has contributed to the smooth running of the RIPE Address Policy Working Group as a co-chair, responsible for policies related to internet address allocation and assignment in a specific region. Sander has also worked as an IPv6 specialist for companies like Rabobank ICT and Solcon. Previously, they served as a Senior Internet Engineer at Max.nl, focusing on the development and maintenance of a new software library.

Sander Steffann completed their MSc in Computer Science at the University of Twente from 1995 to 2004. In addition to their degree, they have obtained certification as an IPv6 Fundamentals - Analyst from the RIPE NCC in December 2020. Moreover, in May 2014, they obtained the certification of IPv6 Forum certified Train-the-Trainer from the IPv6 Forum.
