Pieter Meiring has over 20 years of work experience in project management and customer experience roles. Pieter is currently working as a Customer Experience Manager at 6Connex since June 2020. Before that, they worked as a Freelance Project Manager for various clients, managing digital transformation projects across different sectors from 2007 to August 2022.
In their previous roles, Pieter worked as a Senior Project Manager at Cyber-Duck from April 2019 to February 2020, managing digital transformation projects across multiple locations and sectors. Pieter also worked as a Project Manager at Brandwatch, overseeing projects for clients such as The United Nations Development Programme, Mute Records, and Sony, and played a role in the creation and development of Brandwatch.
Pieter has also worked as a Project Manager at Bellman Media, Designate, Freelance, and First Technology. Pieter started their career as a Brand Manager at Quickcut Advertising. Additionally, Pieter worked as a Freelance Contractor at The Sustainability Institute from 2007 to 2012, and also undertook various projects at Brandwatch before becoming a Project Manager there.
Throughout their career, Pieter has gained experience in managing budgets, timelines, and retainers, as well as coordinating teams and building client relationships. Pieter has worked across various sectors including financial, technology, transport, leisure, and food & beverage. Pieter's portfolio includes projects for notable clients such as O2, BP, Coca-Cola, BT Group, Bupa, Disney, and Thomas Cook, among others.
Pieter Meiring completed their education history with a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Herbal Medicine from the University of Westminster in 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Philosophy degree in Sustainable Development from Stellenbosch University in 2009. Pieter also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika, which was completed in 2002.
