Richard O'Brien

Richard O'Brien has an extensive work experience in various companies and roles. Richard started their career at Jamba Juice in 1998, where they worked as a Manager in Supply Chain & Logistics for 10 years. During their time at Jamba Juice, they also served as an Operations District Manager.

In 2007, they joined Southwest Traders Inc. as the Vice President of Northern California Operations. After a year, they moved to Specialty's Cafe & Bakery in 2008 and worked as the Director of Supply Chain Management for 6 years.

In 2014, Richard joined The Melt as the Director of Purchasing, overseeing supply chain strategies, pricing negotiations, and contract agreements. Richard left The Melt in 2016 and founded their own company called Supply Chain Solutions, where they worked as a Consultant and Contract Director of Food Service.

In 2017, Richard became an Independent Affiliate with Produce Alliance, LLC. Richard stayed with the company until 2020. In 2018, they also joined Blendid as an Advisor and later became the Vice President of Retail Operations & Supply Chain. At Blendid, they introduced robotics and AI to the food service industry.

Most recently, Richard O'Brien joined Portillo Sales & Marketing in 2023 as a Senior Account Executive.

Richard O'Brien attended the University of California, Davis from 1982 to 1986, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics.
