Niyati Desai

Niyati Desai has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries. Beginning in 2006, they worked as a Junior Engineer at Niyati Engineering Pvt. Ltd. Niyati then transitioned to the role of Architecture Trainee at Sathya Consultants, where they gained experience in coordinating field activities, designing with AutoCAD, and supervising residential projects.

In 2011, Niyati began working as a Graduate Assistant/Grader at Santa Clara University, and simultaneously took on the role of Structural/Civil Engineer at Best Design and Construction. At Santa Clara University, they provided assistance and graded assignments, showcasing their dedication to education.

Moving forward, Niyati joined Hohbach-Lewin Structural and Civil Engineers in 2016 as a Staff Engineer, contributing their expertise in structural and civil engineering until 2018.

In 2018, they joined Digitattva Technolabs as a Web Application Developer, focusing on Javascript, ReactJS/Redux, NodeJS, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and JQuery to create responsive web applications. Niyati also utilized MySQL and MongoDB databases for user authentication and transaction data.

Finally, Niyati currently works at 6sense, where they started as a Software Engineer Intern in July 2019. Niyati progressed to the role of Software Engineer - Frontend in October 2019 and currently holds the position of Software Engineer II since February 2021. Their work at 6sense involves contributing to the development and maintenance of software products.

Niyati Desai pursued an immersive full-stack development program at App Academy from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, in 2018, they obtained a certification in web development and data analytics from UC Berkeley Extension. Niyati holds a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Santa Clara University, which they completed from 2009 to 2011. Niyati also has a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat, which they earned between 2003 and 2008. In terms of high school education, Niyati attended Metas of Seventh Day Adventist in Surat from 1990 to 2003. Additionally, they have earned several certifications, including a software developer certification from App Academy in March 2019 and a web development and data analytics certification from UC Berkeley Extension in July 2018. Niyati also holds a Python programming certification from UC Berkeley Extension in June 2017. Niyati's education history does not mention any obtained month or year for their engineer-in-training (EIT) certification in civil engineering from the State of California, NCEES.
