Kumar V. is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in engineering and digital transformation across various industries. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering at 7-Eleven since November 2022, Kumar oversees the engineering delivery and architecture for the 7NOW Marketplace and Skipcart last-mile delivery. Previously, as IT Director at AutoZone, Kumar focused on digital platform engineering for both B2C and B2B markets. Roles at JCPenney as Sr. Engineering Manager, Ferguson Enterprises as Digital Engineering Lead, and Gordon Food Service as eCommerce Lead/Architect have further honed skills in architecture and digital solutions. Kumar’s career began as a Chief Architect/Business Integrator at Toyota/TRW/TM, where significant contributions to software architecture and global supply chain management were made. Kumar holds an MBA in Information Technology from MIT Sloan School of Management and a BE in Computer Science.
