Emily Hovis has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Emily began their career as a Copywriting Intern at Mullen Lowe U.S., where they worked on projects for clients such as JetBlue, Mass Mutual Insurance, ULTA Beauty, FAGE Greek Yogurt, Indeed, and U.S. Cellular. Following their internship, they joined The Martin Agency for a brief period as part of a student workshop. In 2016, Emily joined 72andSunny and worked their way up from a Junior Writer to a Writer, and eventually to their current role as a Senior Writer. This experience has allowed their to develop strong writing skills and contribute to creative projects. Prior to their advertising career, Emily worked as a Camp Counselor at Wyonegonic Camps, where they were responsible for the well-being and safety of campers, as well as teaching pottery and managing the kiln. Overall, Emily Hovis has gained valuable experience in the advertising industry and demonstrated dedication and leadership in their roles.
Emily Hovis has a diverse education history. Emily first attended Mill Creek High School from 2005 to 2010. After graduating from high school, Emily pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising at The University of Georgia, which they completed from 2010 to 2014. During their undergraduate studies, they also had the opportunity to study sociology at Keble College, University of Oxford during the Trinity Term in 2013. Continuing their education, Emily enrolled at the VCU Brandcenter from 2014 to 2016, where they obtained a Master's degree in Copywriting. Overall, Emily has gained a solid academic foundation through their various educational experiences.
