Mattias Enggaard

Mattias Enggaard has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Mattias currently works at 7Analytics as a Business Development Lead, focusing on commercialization, product development, and sustainability. Mattias is also engaged in scaling up the startup on an international level. In 2023, Mattias will be joining DIS - Study Abroad as an Impact Investing Educator.

Prior to their current role, Mattias worked as a self-employed freelancer, where they pursued their MBA degree from 2021 to 2023. Mattias also gained extensive experience at COWI, first as an Economic and Financial Specialist - Business Developer from 2018 to 2020, conducting feasibility analyses for infrastructure projects worldwide. Mattias then moved on to the IFC - International Finance Corporation, where they worked as an Analyst from 2016 to 2018, specializing in business and project development for city infrastructure.

Before their work at the IFC, Mattias was an Economist at COWI from 2012 to 2016, managing infrastructure and environmental projects and policies. Mattias also served as a key account manager and employee representative during this time. Prior to this, Mattias worked as an Environmental Economist at NIRAS from 2010 to 2012.

Before entering the industry, Mattias gained entry-level experience as an Assistant at Miljøstyrelsen in 2008 and as a Science Communicator at Experimentarium | Danish Science Centre from 2004 to 2007.

Mattias Enggaard's education history includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Roskilde University, which they completed from 2003 to 2006. In the same year, they also undertook non-degree studies in Economics, International Relations, and Portuguese at Universidade de Coimbra.

From 2007 to 2010, they attended Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen, where they obtained a Cand.scient.oecon or M.Sc degree in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics.

Currently, they are enrolled at UiT The Arctic University of Norway, where they are pursuing an MBA in Green transition, strategic management, and economics. This program started in 2021 and is expected to be completed by 2023.
