Justin Miller

Justin Miller is a Senior Development Engineer at 8 Rivers Capital. Prior to their current position, Justin worked as a Renewable Energy Scientist Engineer at ThermoChem Recovery International, Inc. (TRI) from May 2013 to September 2021. During their time at TRI, Justin provided clean energy technology solutions to a wide variety of industries and was responsible for the design and construction of the Sierra 500 TPD Trash-to-Fuels Commercial Plant. Justin also managed the ADC facility’s air, water, and hazardous waste permit and ensured compliance.

Justin has a vast amount of experience in engineering and construction, and is able to provide technical support during the design and construction phases of a project. Justin is also experienced in managing fabrication vendors, visiting workshops to inspect accuracy of equipment, and prototyping and testing commercial equipment. In addition, Justin has experience in managing plant controls, SCADA, and Theirtorian systems as well as drafting and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), scopes of work, and cost estimates for test campaigns.

Justin Miller graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Science & Technology with a concentration in Environmental Studies.

Justin Miller reports to Jeremy Fetvedt, Chief Engineering Officer. Justin Miller works with Julian Gonzalez - Senior C&I Engineer, Phillip Cross - Principal Engineer, and Steve Milward - SVP, Engineering & Operations.
