Rick Douglas

Rick Douglas, JD, PE, currently serves as a Project Manager at 8 Rivers, a climate technology company focused on innovative clean energy solutions. Prior experience includes managing energy and infrastructure projects at AECOM with budgets up to $10M, where project planning and risk negotiation were key responsibilities. Rick also held engineering roles at ColeJenest & Stone, assisting in regulatory and site development, and practiced as an Associate Attorney at Watson Law Firm, specializing in civil litigation. Previous positions include Law Clerk at ColeJenest & Stone and Engineering Tech at NCDOT. Rick holds a BS in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University and a JD from Charlotte School of Law, with ongoing education at UCLA Extension.
