Joerg Heise

Joerg Heise has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as an International Trainee at Bayer HealthCare from June 2006 to July 2007. Joerg then worked at Bayer HealthCare again as an Executive Management Support from April 2009 to March 2010, and later as Deputy Director of Commercial Operations from March 2010 to April 2012.

Following that, they founded and served as the Managing Director of maxchina from April 2012 to December 2018. Joerg then joined SOMATEX® Medical Technologies GmbH, where they held the position of Business Development Director from April 2015 to August 2017, and then became the Managing Director from September 2017 to December 2021.

In 2022, they worked at SMT Medical Technology as the Managing Director from January 2022 to March 2023, and simultaneously held the role of a Partner at ALTANO CAPITAL GmbH from January 2022 until the present.

Currently, Joerg Heise is the Managing Director of 80 Beats Medical, a position they have held since April 2023.

Joerg Heise completed an MBA in Business, Management, Marketing, and related supportive services from China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) in 2009. In 2008, they also pursued an MBA at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. Prior to this, they obtained a Diploma from FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management between 2004 and 2007.
