Janna Cisterino

Janna Cisterino is an experienced Development and Communications Manager at 826NYC/Brooklyn Superhero Supply Company since September 2021, overseeing fundraising and communications initiatives, including individual and institutional giving, and database management using Salesforce. Previously, Janna served as Grants Manager at the Center for Family Life in Sunset Park, managing a $13 million grant portfolio and individual fundraising efforts. Prior roles included Institutional Relations Manager at Hudson Guild, where Janna developed proposals and conducted donor research, and grant writing positions at Met Council. Janna also contributed to human rights research as a Research Assistant for the UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights in Iran. Janna holds a BA with Honors in International Relations, Political Science, and Asian Studies from SUNY Geneseo.
