Maryann Aita

Maryann Aita is currently an Adjunct Professor of English at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Maryann also works as a Teaching Artist at 826NYC/Brooklyn Superhero Supply Company, a Tutor at Lemon Tree Learning, and a Consultant, Tutor, and Writing and Career Coach in their freelance work. Maryann has experience in recruiting and talent acquisition, with roles at Data & Society Research Institute, Genioo, and Open Society Foundations. Maryann has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from New York University, a Master of Fine Arts in Writing from Sarah Lawrence College, and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling/Counselor at Hunter College.
