Prakash Giri

Prakash Giri has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Prakash began their career as an Assistant Lecturer at the Institute of Engineering in Nepal from 2002 to 2004. Prakash then worked as a Research Assistant at Oklahoma State University from 2012 to 2013, where they focused on self-driving car research and implemented neural network models and filtering techniques for localization problems. Giri then joined John Deere as a Data Scientist from 2014 to 2015. Prakash later moved to Sears Holdings Corporation, where they held the positions of Data Scientist and Manager of Data Science from 2015 to 2021. Prakash is currently working as a Lead Data Scientist at 84.51° since May 2019.

Prakash Giri holds a Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics from Oklahoma State University, which they obtained from 2012 to 2013. Prakash also has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, specializing in Machine Learning and Robotics, also from Oklahoma State University, earned from 2011 to 2013. In addition, they have a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the same university, completed between 2005 and 2007. Prakash Giri has also obtained various certifications in fields such as scalable machine learning, big data, data science, and SAS programming.
