Vamshi Talla

Vamshi Talla has a diverse work experience in various data engineering and big data roles. Vamshi started their career as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at the Graduate School of Social Work, Portland State University, where they also worked as an IT Student Assistant. Vamshi then went on to work as a Sr. Data Analyst at Monsanto Company. After that, they worked at American Express as a Technical Lead in Big Data Technologies. Vamshi then joined IBM Client Center for Advanced Analytics as a Big Data Architect. Vamshi also worked as a Principal Big Data Consultant at Charter Communications. Vamshi contributed to Apache Spark as a Contributor at The Apache Software Foundation. Currently, Vamshi is serving as an Associate Director of Data Engineering at 84.51°.

Vamshi Talla has a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Portland State University, which they obtained from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University from 2002 to 2006. Additionally, Vamshi Talla has obtained multiple certifications in various fields, including Apache Spark, Scrum Master, Talend Data Integration, and Big Data Foundations.
