Milos Lazic, PhD has worked in various scientific roles since 2001. Milos began their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at NOAA in 2001, followed by a Science Tutor and Computer Lab Attendant position at the College of Charleston in 2001. In 2002, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Duke University, and in 2003 they were accepted to the University of Virginia's Summer Research Internship Program. From 2011-2015, they worked at UC San Diego as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Laboratory of Ariel Feldstein, MD and co-founded the UCSD Exposure to Industry Program. From 2015-2016 they worked as Director of Technical Affairs at One World Lab, Inc. and from 2016-2019 they worked as a Scientist II at Jecure Therapeutics. Most recently, they have been a Scientist II at 858 Therapeutics since 2019.

Milos Lazic, PhD obtained their BS in Biochemistry, B.A. Chemistry, and Minor in Mathematics, Summa cum laude from the College of Charleston in 2004. Milos then went on to pursue a PhD in Neuroscience at Northwestern University, which they completed in 2011. During their studies, they also obtained certifications in Business Management for Scientists and Engineers from the Kellogg School of Management in 2010, An Organ System Approach to Experimental Targeting of the Metabolic Syndrome from Vanderbilt University in 2009, and a CRLA Regular Tutoring Certificate from the College Reading & Learning Association in 2002.
