Shea Degan

Shea Degan is the Founder and CEO of 88 Tactical, an elite training organization established to empower individuals and organizations to effectively handle crises. With extensive experience in law enforcement, Shea has served as a Police Officer since 2008 and worked as a Deputy Sheriff for the Douglas County Sheriff's Office from 1999 to 2008. Additionally, Shea co-founded Lyconic, LLC, a software development firm that supports business applications, and played a key role in the success of Signal 88 Security, a company previously co-founded in 2003. Shea's foundational work in security began with service in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserves as a Maritime Enforcement Specialist. Education includes studies in Criminal Justice, Sociology, and Psychology at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, with emphasis on practical experience over formal degrees.
