Ryan Whicher has had over 14 years of experience in the intelligence analysis and cybersecurity domain. Ryan currently holds the position of Vice President of Intelligence Analysis and Senior Pentester at 8-Bit Int. Prior to this, they worked as a Network Exploitation Analyst at Federal Data Systems for a year. Earlier in their career, they were an Analyst at ThreatConnect, Inc. for over 5 years and worked at CGI and Sotera Defense Solutions, Inc. as a Consultant and an Intelligence Analyst, respectively. Ryan began their career at SAIC as a Security Specialist for two years.
Ryan Whicher holds a Master's degree in Intelligence Analysis from the University of Maryland, which they obtained between 2009 and 2011. Ryan previously completed their undergraduate studies in Political Science and Government, receiving a Bachelor of Science (BS) from Gettysburg College in the period between 2001 and 2005. In addition to their degrees, Ryan obtained professional certifications including Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) in 2016, Security+ in 2013, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) in 2012, and Project Management Professional (PMP) in 2011.
