Alon Oszmann has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Their most recent position is as the Director of Performance Marketing at 8fig, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they worked at VOOM Insurance as the Head of Performance Marketing from 2022 to 2023, where they successfully executed strategies to increase monthly sales and reduce customer acquisition costs.
Before their role at VOOM Insurance, Alon worked at Google from 2016 to 2022. In this time, they held two positions. First, as a Strategic Partner Manager (Market Owner - Israel), where they drove revenue growth for top Israeli partners and achieved record-breaking results. Second, as a Senior Performance Marketing Consultant, they partnered with large digital agencies and successfully helped clients across various markets and verticals achieve their online goals.
In 2015, Alon worked at yellowHEAD as an App Store Optimization (ASO) Consultant, where they worked with renowned app developers such as Zynga, Playtika, and Tinder to optimize their app stores' presence, improve discoverability, and increase user growth.
Prior to yellowHEAD, Alon gained experience in product management at IBM from 2013 to 2014. Alon specialized in Information Management and worked closely with senior product managers to develop and promote product objectives.
Alon's career began in 2012, where they co-founded Tipengo Ltd, a mobile app designed to help people find events based on their interests. Additionally, they gained editorial experience as the Editor in Chief of the Business Newspaper of the Hebrew University for the H.U Business school student association from 2012 to 2014.
Lastly, Alon served in the Israel Defense Forces as a Staff Sergeant from 2006 to 2009.
Alon Oszmann obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management & International Relations from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, completing their studies between 2011 and 2014. In 2014, they attended Stanford University for the BASES Ebootcamp program, focusing on entrepreneurship. Alon also holds various certifications, including HubSpot Marketing Software obtained in February 2021, Email Marketing Certification from HubSpot obtained in 2020, Ad Manager 360/Ad Manager/AdMob/Ad Sense certification from Google obtained in July 2019, Google Ads Certification obtained in 2017, Google Analytics Certification obtained in 2017, User Experience Certification Program (UXV) completed in December 2014, and certifications in Google Data Studio and SEO Principles and Policies.
