Alexander Wong

Alexander Wong has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Alexander joined Avantus in 2015 and has progressively advanced within the company. Starting as an Engineer in Optimization Engineering, they were promoted to Senior Engineer in 2018 and then transitioned to management roles in procurement. Alexander served as a Manager in Procurement from 2019 to 2021 before becoming a Senior Manager in the same department. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Procurement at Avantus, which they assumed in September 2023. Prior to their tenure at Avantus, they worked as a Maintenance Manager at Berkeley Student Cooperative from 2012 to 2013. Additionally, Alexander gained research experience as a Researcher at the Lab for Manufacturing and Sustainability in 2012.

Alexander Wong completed their Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering and Sustainable Design, as well as Conservation and Resource Studies, from the University of California, Berkeley from 2010 to 2013. Alexander then pursued a brief study of Russian Language and Literature at Saint Petersburg State University in 2013. Prior to that, they attended Diablo Valley College from 2008 to 2010.
