Joseph Nasser

Joseph Nasser, CFA, serves as the Manager of Energy Markets at Avantus since November 2022, contributing to the company's mission of advancing clean energy through innovative solar projects. Previously, Joseph held the position of Senior Energy Marketing Analyst at Austin Energy, where responsibilities included market operations and risk management from April 2018 to November 2022. Joseph's experience also includes roles as a Senior Consultant at Essentia Advisory Partners and an ERCOT Power Trader at EDF Energy Services, among other positions across various financial and energy trading firms. Joseph holds an MS in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University, along with a BS in Math and a BBA in Finance from the University of Houston.
