Jeff Mielke

Jeff Mielke serves as the Design Director at 8th Light, guiding client stakeholders through software design and delivery while promoting a holistic approach to product development. Previously, Jeff held various leadership positions at Google, including Head of Design for Jigsaw, where strategic design initiatives improved web safety and information accessibility, and Sr. UX Manager for Distributed Workspace Tools, which enhanced collaboration among users. Jeff's extensive experience also includes roles at Scripps Networks Interactive Inc. as Director of User Experience, The Wonderfactory as Senior User Interface Designer, AOL as Senior Interactive Designer, Citigroup as Interactive Designer, and Pentron Clinical Technologies as Visual Designer. Jeff holds a BS in Computer Engineering, Theatre, and Math from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and has additional education from the School of Visual Arts and New York Film Academy.
