Mark Korshakov

Mark Korshakov is a highly experienced professional with a diverse range of roles throughout their career. Mark is currently serving as the Co-Founder and Director at 8XR, a position they have held since September 2021. Prior to this, from June 2021 to November 2021, they worked as an Independent Game Developer & Game Designer at Roblox.

Mark's extensive experience includes a tenure at ClauseMatch, where they held multiple roles from 2015 to 2021. From February 2019 to September 2021, they served as the Vice President of Engineering, leading and building global engineering teams and ensuring timely product delivery. Mark also held the role of Product Owner during the same period. As the Chief Operating Officer from March 2016 to February 2019, they led and built various teams at the St. Petersburg office. Additionally, they worked as a DevOps Engineer from July 2015 to October 2016 and as a Java Software Developer from March 2015 to March 2016, being responsible for building infrastructure and leading teams.

Prior to that, Mark served as a Project Lead Developer at First Line Software, Inc from September 2011 to March 2013, where they were responsible for both front-end and back-end development using technologies like Spring, Maven, and ExtGWT.

Mark's professional journey began at the Saint Petersburg State Polytechnical University, where they worked as a Lead Engineer from March 2010 to March 2011. In this role, they led the development of an internal CRM system for the Institute of International Educational Programs.
