Alix Wiseman

Alix Wiseman has had a successful career in the media industry, with experience spanning over two decades. Alix began their career at Channel 4 International, where they worked as a Programme Sales Executive, responsible for sales and distribution of TV and home video rights. Alix then joined Entertainment Rights Plc as a Senior Territory Manager and Head of Sales, Europe & Latin America, where they managed the exploitation of kids brands across various platforms.

In 2006, Alix started their own consulting firm, Alix Wiseman Media Consulting, and worked on a short-term contract as an International Media Consultant for 3-D Revolution Productions. In this role, they provided creative input and contributed to the development of an animated children's television series.

From 2006 to 2016, Alix held various roles at Aardman Animations, a renowned animation studio. Alix started as the Head of Sales and later became the Head of Sales & Acquisitions, and finally the Head of Sales and Acquisitions & Executive Producer. Alix was responsible for international distribution and acquisition of third-party IP, as well as the development, financing, and negotiation of co-production partnerships for Aardman's own IP.

Since 2016, Alix has been working at 9 Story Media Group, initially as the Vice President of Business Development & Acquisitions, and later as the Senior Vice President of Distribution & Acquisitions. In these roles, they have been responsible for strategic business development, acquisition of new content, and distribution of media assets.

Alix Wiseman attended Cranborne Chase School from 1983 to 1985 for high school. After that, from 1987 to 1994, they studied at the University of the West of England, where they obtained a BA (Hons) degree in Modern Languages & Social Sciences, with a focus on French, Spanish, Politics, Economics, and History. Prior to attending Cranborne Chase School, Alix Wiseman also studied at Edron Academy in Mexico City from 1980 to 1983 for high school.
