Renee Nakatsu

Renee Nakatsu has a diverse and extensive work experience in the IT field. Renee is currently serving as the Director of Information Technology at 9 Story Media Group since April 2018. Prior to this, they worked at Manulife as a Project Lead from 2016 to 2018 where they played a crucial role in implementing a global change in network security. During their tenure, they successfully replaced the existing on-premises technology with a more robust and flexible SaaS solution across 11 countries and for over 36,000 end users. Renee also has a significant history with Corus Entertainment, where they held various roles including Director of Security and Content Management, Director of Information Technology, Senior Manager of Information Technology, and Manager of IT Network Services between 2001 and 2015. Renee began their career at YTV Canada in 1997 as a System Analyst.

Renee Nakatsu has a BA degree in Political Science from the University of Windsor. Additionally, they hold a Programmer/Analyst Diploma (Co-op) in Information Technology from Sheridan College.
