Bleron Baraliu has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Bleron began their career at Citi in 2001, where they specialized in swaptions, exotics, and FX derivatives. Bleron later became the Head of North America Options Strategy. In 2004, they joined Barclays Investment Bank as an FX Options Trader, focusing on exotic derivatives and emerging markets. At Vinya Global Macro Fund from 2004 to 2006, Bleron served as a Portfolio Manager and Head of the trading desk, implementing risk and macro trading strategies. Bleron received recognition from Drobny Advisors for their trade in 2005. From 2006 to 2009, Bleron worked as a Senior Portfolio Manager at ZAIS GROUP, managing a $3 billion macro trading and credit derivative strategies portfolio with consistently positive returns. Bleron then joined State Street Global Markets as a Managing Director from 2009 to 2013. In this role, they held a senior position overseeing operations. In 2013, Bleron founded Matrics, a complete portfolio and risk management platform, and served as the CEO until 2020. Bleron joined 91Life in 2016 as the CEO and Head of Theoretical Division. Bleron Baraliu's work experience demonstrates a strong background in finance, risk management, and leadership.

Bleron Baraliu earned a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Mathematics (with Honors) and a Master's in Quantitative Finance from Columbia University. This educational journey lasted from 1999 to 2003.
