Ellen Bowen

Ellen Bowen is an experienced leader in the food and marketing sectors, currently serving as the South Florida Location Leader and Site Director for Food Rescue US since 2018, where efforts focus on connecting food donors with social service agencies through a web-based app. Ellen also manages MIAbites.com, an upscale food community website, since its launch in 2016, and has partnered with CTbites.com since 2011, curating events and marketing initiatives. A volunteer and honorary founder of 9/11 Day, Ellen promotes community service in remembrance of the September 11th attacks. Previous roles include Senior Marketing Consultant and Regional Manager at Groupon, Vice President of Sales at Nine West Group, and various sales management positions in major apparel brands. Ellen holds a BBA/MBA in Marketing and Retail Management from Baruch College.
