Jill Genio

Jill Genio is currently the Head of Legal at 917Ventures, the largest corporate venture builder in the country, which is a subsidiary of Globe Telecom. Prior to this role, Jill served as a Senior Legal Counsel at Globe Telecom and as a Legal Counsel at Sea, the parent company of Shopee, Garena, and SeaMoney. From 2011 to 2017, Jill worked as a Senior Associate at Romulo Mabanta Buenaventura Sayoc & De Los Angeles, focusing on M&A, capital markets, and foreign investments. Jill also has experience as an Associate at Feria Tantoco Robeniol Law Offices, where Jill advised clients on corporate law and energy projects. Jill holds a J.D. from Ateneo de Manila University School of Law and a degree in English Literature from Ateneo de Manila University.
