Julius Magsino

Julius Magsino has a diverse work experience in the field of user experience (UX) design. Julius is currently working as a Senior User Experience Designer at 98point6 Inc., where they are responsible for assessing business needs, leading user design processes, collaborating on usability tests, and designing new visit types. Prior to this, Julius worked at T-Mobile as a User Experience Designer, where they led UX design efforts, conducted user research, created iterative designs, facilitated design meetings, and partnered with cross-functional teams. Julius also served as a Senior Instructional Designer at T-Mobile, leading the design and development of training initiatives incorporating User-Centered Design processes. Julius has experience in mobile app development and game design, having worked as a Mobile App Developer and Game Designer/Graphics Intern at T-Mobile. Julius has also worked at Microsoft as an Xbox Game Studios User Research Ops Moderator, conducting and moderating user research sessions for video games. Additionally, Julius has interned at the University of Washington Human Centered Design & Engineering department as a Web and Social Media Intern, where they supported web and social media needs using User-Centered Design practices. Julius started their career at Learning & Scholarly Technologies - UW-IT, where they served as a Help Desk Lead Consultant and a Computer Lab Consultant, providing support and troubleshooting services.

Julius Magsino has a solid educational background in the field of design and communication. Julius earned a Master of Science degree in Human Centered Design & Engineering from the University of Washington, specializing in User-Centered Design, from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Centered Design & Engineering from the same university, with a focus on Human Computer Interaction, from 2007 to 2012. During the same period, they also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, with a concentration in Technology and Society; Social Interaction.

In addition to their formal education, Julius has pursued various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Julius received a Certificate of Achievement in Effective Communication and Human Relations from Dale Carnegie in December 2017. Furthermore, they obtained several certifications from Technische Universiteit Delft, including "Communicating Effectively: How to Inspire and Convince", "Effective Decision Making: Dealing with Business Complexity", "Influencing Stakeholders: Discover Your Leadership Style and Deal with Power and Dynamics", and "Leadership Essentials for Engineers." These certifications were obtained in August 2019.
