Soroosh Demooei

Soroosh Demooei is currently a Venture Capital Fellow at Illuminate Ventures and an MBA Partner at 99 Tartans, an angel investment syndicate focused on Carnegie Mellon startups. Additionally, Soroosh serves as a Venture Capital and Private Equity Investment Intern at Woodland Management. Previous roles include Director of Engineering and Senior Software Engineer at RIGZ, LLC, and Lead Software Engineer at Worklab.io, Inc., where responsibilities included software development and API creation. Soroosh also gained experience at IBM as a Software Engineer, contributing to the AI-Openscale service, and interned as a Full Stack Developer at Breathe California of the Bay Area. Soroosh's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Computer Software Engineering and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
