Binara Medawatta

Binara Medawatta has a diverse work experience spanning several years. In 2017, they worked as an Associate Software Engineer at Inova IT Systems, where they gained experience in web development projects and worked with cross-functional software development teams. They contributed to projects such as the Inventory Control System and the Intranet System, using Oracle ADF and Oracle as the database. In 2020, Binara worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Inova IT Systems, where they worked as a Full Stack Developer on a national level project, contributing to system design, database design, and frontend and backend development using React. In 2021, they co-founded the Esala Foundation and served as the Technical Officer. Currently, Binara is employed as a Software Engineer at 99x.

Binara Medawatta completed a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from the University of Colombo School of Computing from 2018 to 2022. Prior to that, Binara attended Nalanda College Colombo from 2003 to 2016, but the degree name and field of study during that time are unknown. Binara also obtained various certifications including "Angular: Getting Started" and "Angular: The Big Picture" from Pluralsight in May 2022, a "C++ (Basic) Certificate" and "Java (Basic) Certificate" from HackerRank in September 2020, an "OCA Java SE 8 Programmer" certificate from ESOFT Metro Campus in January 2018, and several other certifications related to programming languages and development obtained from institutions such as HackerRank, Udemy, and SoloLearn.
