Lahiru Gayantha

Lahiru Gayantha has a diverse work experience in the IT field. Lahiru started their career as a Software Engineering Trainee at 99x in January 2022. After completing their trainee program, they joined The Laundromat in September 2017 as an Information Technology Assistant. Lahiru later worked as a System Administrator from March 2018 to November 2018 and then as an IT Consultant from December 2018 to the present. In February 2020, Lahiru co-founded VaVe, where they currently hold a position. Additionally, they have been involved in the IT Faculty Students' Union at the University of Moratuwa, serving as a Committee Member from April 2020 to June 2021, Secretary from July 2021 to July 2022, and Junior Treasurer since August 2022. Lahiru also served as a Committee Member and Vice President at INTECS - UoM from April 2019 to April 2020 and May 2020 to May 2021, respectively. Currently, Lahiru is a Software Engineer at 99x since March 2023.

Lahiru Gayantha completed a Bsc.(Hons) in Information Technology from the University of Moratuwa from 2018 to 2022. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2016, Lahiru attended Bandaranayake College - Gampaha, where they studied Biology, General. In 2012, Lahiru briefly enrolled in ESOFT Metro Campus and obtained a Diploma of Education in Computer Software Engineering.
