Jonathan Gee

Jonathan Gee is the current Head of Finance at 9fin. Jonathan has extensive experience in financial management, having previously served as the Director of Finance at OnceHub from March 2018 to January 2022. In this role, they were responsible for managing financial departments for UK, US, Israel and India group companies, contributing to year-by-year company-wide growth. Jonathan facilitated the increase in worldwide personnel from 50 to over 170 by establishing a corporate presence in 5 additional jurisdictions.

Gee is also responsible for annual accounts (several locations) and internal management reports. Jonathan controls global tax strategy, covering tax relief schemes, transfer pricing studies and US tax requirements (both federal and state nexus). Additionally, they advise on strategic corporate decisions including M&A transactions.

In their previous role, Gee upgraded internal processes in order to facilitate more robust financial controls and a more streamlined recruitment process. Jonathan also managed cash-flow for company-wide treasury, including establishing and cultivating business relationships with banks. In addition to these responsibilities, they also oversaw all financial functions including international tax-planning, AR, AP, payroll, bookkeeping as well as maintaining of accounting policies in multiple jurisdictions.

Jonathan Gee's educational career includes a Master of Business Administration from Bar-Ilan University, a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance from The University of Manchester, and certification in Excel skills development and training from Study.com. Jonathan also has a certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.
