Jessica D. has extensive work experience in the field of data protection, compliance, and privacy. Jessica is currently working as a Data Protection Consultant at 9ine Consulting since August 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Equitable Bank as a Compliance Officer, Consumer Provisions, and Privacy from November 2020 to August 2021.

Jessica also has a significant tenure at TrustArc (formerly Nymity) where they served as a Privacy Management & Compliance Specialist from August 2015 to October 2020. In this role, they provided ongoing support to TrustArc subscribers, delivering training on Nymity suite of Knowledge Solutions and TrustArc platform. Jessica developed and maintained training and support materials for key customers and effectively resolved clients' problems.

Before joining TrustArc, Jessica worked as a Program Assistant (Privacy) at Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario from February 2015 to July 2015. Prior to that, they worked as a Compliance & Privacy Officer at Intact Financial Corporation from October 2012 to February 2014. Jessica also gained experience as a Program Analyst at the Government of Ontario from May 2012 to September 2012, where they conducted research and assisted in the coordination of Environmental Approvals training sessions.

Jessica's career in the field started with a role as an Administrative Clerk (Compliance and Privacy) at Intact Financial Corporation from May 2008 to May 2012. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong skills in data protection, compliance, and privacy management, and has consistently provided effective support to clients and organizations.

Jessica D. holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Public Policy & Administration from Ryerson University. Prior to their Master's degree, they completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science and Government from York University. In addition to their formal education, Jessica has obtained certifications in privacy management. Jessica is a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) and a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Canada (CIPP/C), which they obtained from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) in March 2017 and December 2016, respectively.
