Soham Avlani is a seasoned venture capital professional with extensive experience in empowering entrepreneurs and fostering disruptive innovations across various industries in India. As the Founding General Partner at PROMAFT Partners since March 2024, Soham leads initiatives focused on achieving optimal product-market fit for startups. Previously, as a Partner at 9Unicorns from August 2019 to March 2024, Soham contributed to a $100 million fund that invested in seed to series A startups globally. Additional roles include serving as a Board Observer for several companies and taking on board member positions, highlighting a strong commitment to supporting emerging businesses. Soham's educational background includes a Master’s in Finance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Executive Education in Venture Capital from The Wharton School, and a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
