John Marken

Scientist I at A-Alpha Bio

John Marken is an Associate Scientist at A-Alpha Bio. John has previously worked as a Molecular Biology at the Allen Institute for Brain Science, where they developed genome editing tools and TALENS technology to control neuron development. John has also worked as a research scientist at VLST Corp, where they developed a target discovery method and optimized antibody binding domain against complex targets. Additionally, they have worked as a scientist at Trubion Pharmaceuticals, where they headed the importation of Dyax phage display technology and led the importation of antibody affinity maturation technology. John has also contributed to the development of two drugs, Tru015 and Tru016, which are currently in clinical trials.

John Marken attended Seattle University, where they earned a BS in biology and biochemistry.
