Haley Mulkey

Design Studio Director at A Divine Event

Haley has been lucky enough to have spent the last 10 years in the industry that fuels her creativity and passion – Floral & Design. Hailing from Dallas, Texas, Haley started in the industry as a teenager shadowing a local florist where she learned the basics of design and how to care for fresh cut florals. From there, she realized that she wanted to further her education in Floral Design by studying at the University of North Texas College of Fine Arts and Design. It was there that she was afforded many opportunities to work on large-scale events, leading her to design the florals for The Dallas Cowboys and Safeway’s sponsored Annual Gala! Needless to say, she was hooked. She then furthered her floral education by attending several nationwide floral seminars and worked closely with many of the best Floral Designers in the U.S.

After college, Haley started her own business and worked as the head designer and manager of her own floral shop, specializing in weddings and receptions. Due to its success and the connections she had forged, she began training new florists in North Texas to run their own shops. However, it was becoming clear that Haley wanted to focus on the relationships with her clients rather than the day to day challenges associated with running her own business.

When her partner wanted to move to Atlanta to pursue his passion in film, Haley jumped at the chance to work in a city that is so well known for its Event Industry. As the Creative Sales Design Manager for A Divine Event, she gets to work one on one with couples to create their perfect wedding day, all while having the support of their amazing Design Studio team to make it happen.
