David Long

David Long has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. David is currently working as a Principal Mechanical Engineer at A-Gas since May 2022. Prior to this, from 2020 to 2022, they worked at Edwards Vacuum as a Senior Mechanical Development Engineer. In this role, they led operational support for existing product lines, collaborating with production and managing changes to meet shipment deadlines. From 2015 to 2020, David worked at Saint-Gobain Mobility - Bearings as an Application Engineer, where they designed and project-managed products for various industries, including the automotive sector. David also had a role at Fulton Boiler Works (GB) Limited from 2013 to 2015, first as a Design Engineer and then as a Project Engineer. At Fulton Boiler Works, they designed pressure vessels and conducted site visits for equipment suitability. In 2010, they served as a Development Engineer at QUANTUM ES LIMITED, where they researched and developed small engines. Additionally, David had a Summer Internship at Cinetic Landis Ltd in 2005, where they created a disaster recovery handbook and monitored the production process.

David Long attended Bradford Grammar School from 1997 to 2003. David then went on to study at the University of Bristol from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree with a focus on Mechanical Engineering.
