Michael Abreu

Michael Abreu has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Michael is currently serving as the Director of Space Operations at a.i. solutions since March 2021. Prior to that, they were the President and CEO of their own company, Abreu Innovation Management, LLC, starting from January 2018. From March 2018 to March 2021, they worked as the Executive Director at CACI International Inc.

Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Michael had a distinguished career in the US Navy. Michael served as PEO EIS from August 2017 to October 2017 and as a Major Program Manager from October 2013 to August 2017. Additionally, they held several positions at the US Navy, National Reconnaissance Office, including being the Payload Division Chief from July 2009 to June 2012 and the Payload Project Manager from March 2004 to March 2007. Earlier in their naval career, they worked as the Senior IPT Lead for Integrated Fire Control, E-2D Advanced Hawkeye, from March 2007 to July 2009 and as a Mission Director from October 2001 to March 2004.

Michael Abreu completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy between 1988 and 1992. In 2012 and 2013, Michael enrolled in the Secretary of Defense Executive Fellows Program, where they were assigned to Google, Inc. to study Information Technology, Cyber Security, and Networks.
