Nakita Simpson

Nakita Simpson is an experienced author and art director with a focus on children's literature and creative direction. Currently serving as the author of "A Kids Book About Emotions" at A Kids Co., Nakita creates engaging content to help children express their emotions through stories and activities. In the role of Art Director at the same company, Nakita collaborates across various departments, overseeing internal photography, copywriting, social media design, and film production. Previous experience includes positions as Junior Art Director at Swift Agency, Art Director Resident at Wieden + Kennedy, and Art Director at c0ffe3, along with volunteering as a Design Program Teaching Assistant at Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School. Nakita holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Central Florida and has furthered creative education at Miami Ad School Atlanta @ Portfolio Center.
